It is important to use as many energy efficient products as possible in our household. One goal is to save money on your water bill. A simple but important item for efficiency is the shower head. A standard shower head uses 2.5 gallons of water per minute (GPM). The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommends that households should install shower heads with flow rates of 1.8 GPM or lower. The regulator in our original 1.8 GPM shower head broke, and our water usage increased dramatically. So did our water bill! Thus, we started searching for an even better shower head. At the end of March, I shared a deal on an Evolve 1.5 GPM shower head that we purchased. Following is my review of the shower head along with some other energy efficient products, including shower heads, that could help you to save money on your utility bills.
